Golf Course Superintendent – Las Positas, Livermore, CA

CourseCo, Inc is seeking qualified superintendents who are GCSAA members (Certified, CGCS preferred) for the Las Positas located in Livermore, CA. The course is a year round 27-hole (18-hole championship and 9-hole executive), with +/-75,000 annual rounds. Two or 4-year degree inTurf Management or Agronomics with a minimum 5 years experience required.

Duties: Golf course maintenance including clubhouse landscapes and entrance road. Maintenance budget (+/-$1.2 million) and purchasing, equipment maintenance, fertilizer/pesticide application, trees, lake maintenance, Audubon Certification and community outreach program. Recycled irrigation water management.
Experience: Poa annua/bentgrass greens . Strongly prefer grow-in and construction experience. Written and verbal skills are important. Must have strong relationship building skills, strong hiring, selection and indoctrination skills. Excellent people skills: you will interface with the City, Golf Committees, and the community. Your passion for the environmental management will assist you in obtaining Audubon Certification.

Salary range $75-85k per year, depending on experience. Superintendent will report directly to the VP of Operations for CourseCo.
