Crystal Springs Golf Course

Crystal Springs Golf Course, located in Burlingame, CA, is looking for an experienced golf oriented sales person. The Director of Tournament Sales is responsible for all on-site activities related to successful promotion and execution of group events. This includes but is not limited to, coordinating event activities with all departments, managing available dates, responding to request for information, re-booking past customers, actively marketing events packages to area businesses and groups, provide excellent set up and service on the day of the event, follow up with customers for feedback after the event, and coordinate facility calendar with all departments. This position will assist the General Manager in the successful growth and operations of Crystal Springs Golf Course.

Relationship Management
Provide courteous customer service at all times
Manage contact data base
Secure Contractual agreements
Foster Teamwork and Cohesiveness
Coordinate event scheduling with F & B and maintenance
Promote a friendly and welcome environment
Attend management team meetings as needed
Ensure Company and Regulatory Compliance
Utilize (POS) register system
Collect event deposits and final payments
Track all event data

Job requirements:
Minimum one or two years experience managing, coordinating and marketing group events.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and other data base management software. High energy plus strong communication skills and ability to interact will all member clubs and stakeholders is a must.

Salary starting at $30,000, depending on experience plus percentage of sales.  Benefits include:  vacation, shared health plan, 401(k), meals, and approved education.
