Tom Isaak established CourseCo, Inc, a California corporation, in 1989. In the ensuing years, the company has assumed the operation of 13 golf courses. It now manages more than 600 employees, and its facilities generate more than $22 million in operating revenue. Tom, the firms president, has a background in government and politics as well as business. A graduate of Stanford University whose graduate studies include environmental planning and finance, he later served assistant to the president of Sonoma State College, chief administrative officer of the State Assembly and director of the Assembly Office of Majority Services. John Telischak, joined the firm as an owner and chief financial officer in 1996. He received a bachelors degree in economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and an MBA from Stanford Business School and has spent 34 years in the fields of real estate investment, development, finance and management, beginning with IBM and moving to Kidder Peabody Realty Corporation before forming Telischak & Company in 1975. Ray Davies, CGCS, director of golf course maintenance and construction, became a shareholder in 2001 after seven years with the firm, the first employee to become a corporate partner. |
