CourseCo is excited to announce that a new partnership has been formed with the City of Brookings to manage the daily operations at Salmon Run Golf Course. Salmon Run becomes the 40th golf course under CourseCo management in 6 states including Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, Texas, and Montana. CourseCo president and CEO Michael Sharp added “We are extremely excited to be selected to partner with the City of Brookings to operate and manage Salmon Run Golf Course. The course and facilities are important community assets that we believe have a tremendous opportunity as a place to build on the foundation set by the City and former operator Early Management Team. Working in collaboration with the City, we see Salmon Run Golf course as a hub for community activity and programming and a recreational asset for both golfers and non-golfers. With the increased demand for golf and the recent addition of the Occasion Hall, Salmon Run Golf Course is positioned well for a bright future. Brookings has a gem of a golf course and we are honored to manage Salmon Run Golf Course.” Brookings City Council President John McKinney added “In my opinion Early Management Team did a great job getting the course on the right track, and now we are excited to pass that torch to CourseCo. CourseCo has an incredible reputation, coupled with their vast resources we expect great things coming in Salmon Run’s future. I would also like to thank former Counselor Brent Hodges for his time, knowledge, and dedication. Brent was vital in assisting in the selection process.”
Salmon Run Golf Course was originally constructed in the mid 1990’s on land donated to the City by South Coast Lumber Company.
